BOM felt is the leading product in the current paper making felt market. The press felt is composed of a bottom mesh layer and a fiber layer. The bottom mesh is made of monofilament and single, multifilament plied chemical fiber materials. According to different processes, it can weave single layer, double layer, multi layer, and stacked endless press felt. BOM felt have a flat surface and stable specifications. Generally, they have a small elongation and shrinkage rate and are not easy to be folded.
Compared with BOB felts, BOM felts are much stronger, more wear-resistant, corrosion - resistant, have stronger water filtration performance, and have a large porosity. Because BOM felts can withstand strong linear pressure, their service life is 1-2 times higher than that of BOB felts, and the dryness of the pressed paper sheets is about 3% higher than that of BOB felts, which is more conducive to increasing vehicle speed and saving energy.
