Press Felt Operation Process
When the paper web is transferred from the forming section to the press section, there is still a lot of moisture in the paper web. The press felt works with the roller to squeeze out part of the moisture in the paper web through pressure. The permeability of the press felt ensures that the water can be discharged through itself. After repeated dehydration in multiple pressing sections, the dryness of the paper web is further improved and a smoother and more uniform paper surface is given for subsequent operations.
