What is Heat Transfer Printing Felt ?

Heat transfer printing felt is mainly used in textile heat transfer printing processes, including but not limited to clothing pattern transfer, decorative material hot stamping, leather product embossing and other process. In the operation of the hot stamping machine, its high-pressure resistance can withstand high-pressure mechanical pressure, ensuring the clarity of the transferred pattern. In heat transfer printing, the shaping of the felt can help the printed pattern better adhere to the heat transfer surface, while preventing ink loss and diffusion during the transfer process. It can also improve the clarity and accuracy of the printed pattern, thereby ensuring the quality and stability of the final printing effect. The material of the felt should be chosen to be high-temperature, wear-resistant, and smooth to ensure that it does not deform, break, or fall off at high temperatures. The finer and flatter the surface of felt, the better it can absorb printed patterns and ink, making the patterns clearer and more vivid.

Heat Transfer Printing Felt Production Process

Raw Material: We use imported Nomex fiber (aramid 1313) to make our felt. The Nomex fiber have good flame retardant, high temperature resistant, strong and wear-resistant.
Carding : The carding process is to open and comb the Nomex fiber to remove the impurity and make it to a short lint.
Needling: The fiber after carding process will be very short fiber, will use needling machine to press the fiber into the layer mesh to make it solid and strong. Heat Setting: The last process is heat setting. This process is to fix the felt shape, make it structure strong and solid and heat resistance. Cutting and Packing: After finishing the felt, we will cut the felt according to customer's request and packing it.
